the size of the source code for the new version vasp6.5

Dear Experts,
I have a question about the size of the source code for the new version vasp6.5.
The new version vasp6.5.0 is only 71.66MB, while vasp6.4.3 has 94.77MB , the source package space is 24.4% less, is some functions of the new version reduced?

Dear Jesman,

Thank you for your question. There was a large MLFF test removed from the test suite between 6.4.3 and 6.5.0. This is the reason that the tar file is smaller, the source code itself is actually 5 MB larger.
